Volunteer With Us!

From June through October 2024 we are hosting paper mache workshops for volunteers most Wednesdays and some Saturdays, 10am-3pm, at our new workspace at Green Anchors. Learn giant mask and puppet-building skills with us while helping build amazing new pieces for our processional events. Mainly suited for adults, but kids can come if they are willing to help their adults.

We recommend you dress for an outdoor location. We have a covered workspace but we are right by the river where it tends to be slightly cooler than the rest of Portland, and sometimes breezy. Also we will be using paste and sometimes clay or paint so don't wear your best outfit. We typically take a lunch break from noon to one, so bring a bag lunch to enjoy by the river, or plan to grab a quick bite up the hill in downtown St Johns.
